Selection and Availability
We select the best producers of greenery and cut flowers throughout Italy and the varieties that meet our customers’ quality requirements. We follow the flower production process from plant selection through to harvesting.
We maintain a constant presence at our growers, and through our webshop our customers can view real-time information on daily available quantities and varieties.
We are also able to forecast our growers’ harvests, enabling our customers to plan their work several weeks in advance.
Harvesting and Packaging
The products purchased from us are harvested on the same day and delivered to our selection and processing platforms.
After selection, we package the flowers according to the customer’s requirements (in plastic, in paper, with suitable pack rates) in order to maximize the time available for sorting and sale.
Delivery
Our products are loaded on Danish trolleys and dispatched from Italy with our carriers on the very same day they are harvested. We deliver directly to your facilities, providing you with fresh products within less than 48 hours from harvest.
OUR STORY
A Family Passion
D.S. Flowers represents more than a century of experience in the cultivation and marketing of cut flowers. Our story began over 100 years ago, when our great-grandfather, Stanislao Del Gaudio, together with other local growers, founded the first floriculture market of Pompeii.
Since then, for four generations, our family has carried this tradition forward with passion and dedication, evolving and growing within the industry.
Growth and Innovation
Starting from a small wholesale business in the local market of Pompeii, we quickly expanded our operations nationwide, becoming a benchmark for the quality of our flowers.
Our reputation for excellence enabled us to grow beyond Italy’s borders, collaborating with leading retailers throughout Europe. About ten years ago, we decided to open a strategic branch in Frankfurt, the heart of European trade, in order to better serve our international customers.
D.S. Flowers Today
Today we are a point of reference in Germany and a link between Italian producers and floriculture distributors in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria.
Part of our business also consists of florists in the Frankfurt area who, by placing their trust in us, allow us to expand the range of Italian flowers with blooms from very distant origins, which we purchase directly from producers around the world or through our partners in the Netherlands.
